Birmingham 5 a side is a new creation at playfiveaside.com and the first ever Birmingham 5 a side football league will launch on Monday 5th April 2010. Games will be played at Holt Street, Birmingham, B4 7ET Click here for map
There are two time slots for these leagues
Monday 8-10
Tuesday 7-9
The format (8 team league)
Weeks 1-7 season
Weeks 8-15 season 2
The format will change depending on the number of teams involved.
Games are Thirty MINUTES and are played at 8,830, 9 and 930 on Monday or 7, 730, 8 or 830 on Tuesday. You can join both leagues if you wish. For full details about the rules and regulations please click here
What we provide
Trophies, Referees, Match day reports, fixtures and results, bibs and top quality balls so all you need to do is turn up.
Cost and payment
The costs of the league are £15 per team per week per team UNBEATABLE. We accept cash, cheque or bank transfers and will provide receipt of payment. There is NO DEPOSIT to pay, we ask all our teams to pay the fees all up front (7 weeks up front) so we don’t have the problem of teams not turning up as and when they feel like it. Moreover paying weekly can get a bit tedious as you have to arrange collection from your team mate’s week in week out and then make a payment week in week out, which can cut time out of games. This way there is no fuss no hassle and just pure exhilarating football.
