How do the leagues work?

Teams sign up for a season, which will compromise of between 7 weeks-12 weeks depending on the size of the league. You will know the time of your fixtures every week from week 1 of the season, so there is no confusion. We will provide all the equipment from match balls, FA qualified referees and bibs. All you need to do is turn up. We will send out the results and full match day summaries within 24hours of games that take place. You can also view our rules and regulations by clicking here

How to sign up

If you would like to join one of our leagues in progress or starting soon please email nilesh@playfiveaside.com. If leagues are full you will be placed on a waiting list. The period you will spend on the waiting list can be from 1-11 weeks. A full list of leagues can be found by clicking here

How much does it cost?

I will guarantee that we are the cheapest and highest quality 5 a side provider on the planet, yes the planet. Usually fees per team per week average £25-£35/ week which cannot be beaten by any of our rivals. If they offer a better price WE WILL BEAT IT. The price does depend on the format of the league 40 min games are usually £35 whereas 30 minute games £25.

How to pay?

You can pay cheque,cash or bank transfer. You will be given a receipt to confirm payment. Typically we ask for all payments up front so we don’t have the problem of teams not turning up as and when they feel like it. Moreover paying weekly can get a bit tedious as you have to arrange collection from your team mate’s week in week out.

How long are the games?

Depending on the league you are joining the games will either be 30 minutes, 40 minutes or one hour long. Most of the leagues in operation are 40minutes if they are not they will be stated in the leagues section.

How do we know when we will be playing?

We provide the full fixtures in week 1 of the season. So you are fully aware of all your games. If there are any changes to your times (which is highly unlikely) you will be notified more than 24 hours in advance. The fixtures and results will be published on the website and also sent to your email inboxes (optional)

Deposits?

You DO NOT NEED to pay a deposit a lot of organisations require this but as you are paying fees up front for a much cheaper price we will not ask for anything else and there will be NO OTHER CHARGES THROUGHOUT the season.

What happens if the opposition doesn’t show?

This usually does not happen but we will arrange a friendly fixture for you in this slot and award the 3 points to your team with a 5-0 default win.
