Welcome to week 3,
Looks like Treesdown are running the show at the moment with ISA close behind. These two seemed to be the only 2 not playing with a mild hangover as their chase to the trophy continues. Both remain undefeated with Treesdown defeating London’s not so Finest
and ISA proving that quality is always better than quantity. The mid table is also packed tighter than Jordan’s bra. With Reds getting a victory over the Lehmann Brothers and ABG and Stafford 10 contesting in a draw. 3 teams are now on 4 points a far cry away from the top of the table.
How it went down
To be honest every time Ajax Treesdown win a game all the referee talks about is Dav, Dav this and Dav that I wonder what would happen if he wouldn’t play. He scored 5 goals with the only other Treesdown player being mentioned being Raj for a good save. Of course no player is bigger than the club and Treesdown will snap a Ronaldo type transfer fee on the young gun to keep the likes of Manchester City away. For Finest they were always trailing and Michael and Demi were linking up well but coming from 3-0 down at the half proved too much. Ben also displayed fine moments at the back but not enough as they were totally ripped apart. Treesdown 6-2 Finest.
Stafford 10 and ABG lived up to the billing as they contested a thriller which in honesty should have been easily won by Stafford 10 after their wonderful first half performance. Stafford had 2 men to thank Hasil for his brilliant display of shooting and Dave who was like a rolling rock at the back getting rid of anything in his way. ABG struggled and goals from Hasil, Carlos and Paul with only a reply from prolific striker James Martin meant they trailed 3-1 at the interval. As the lights came on and the show restarted ABG were awoken with Alan fighting the good fight to bring ABG back only for Finian to drag ABG down again. ABG had 9 minutes left on the clock and needed something special and my oh my didn’t it come with Alan bringing the game back to 4-3 and then with minutes of the game left the reported brother from another mother of Ashley Cole, James Cole took out the trash as he rescued a point for ABG his celebration was so profound he went all the way to the Aston Lake and had a dip. The geese were impressed by his man hood and mistook it for a carrot and began nibbling, Cole says he always enjoys a good nibble. ABG 4-4 Stafford 10.
ISA ISA ISA, Incredibly Sexy Astoners ((I just made that up) showed exactly why Justin Timberlake doesn’t have anything on them and they are the ones who keep bringing sexy back by demolishing Q o Q. Yes my fine feathered friends hat tricks from Bobby and Jaz with a man of the match performance from Pablo meant that ISA were just too comfortable and Issa in goal was at times catching up with his favourite programmes on 4 OD its ok to admit you watch desperate housewives don’t worry. ISA 7-0 Q o Q.
Apart from Kit Sedgewick is anybody else playing for the Lehmann Brothers? Once again they were mauled this time by Reds United front trio of Mohammed and Abdullah was tastier than a beach holiday in Egypt. Captain Tariq also displayed some great skill and even saved in the first half with Hassan and Fahad also getting some goals. Very one sided some might say not even a contest. Reds United 8-2 Lehmann Brothers.
Player Cam
Game of the week. Stafford 10 vs. ABG
Goals of the day. A bit of a tossup should we give it to Dav (Treesdown) who sped past a player before blasting the ball home or Abdullah (Reds United) who hit a thunderbolt from range. Think we will give it to Abdullah
Silky goalkeeper. Tariq (Reds) Impressed this week with skill outfield and great saves in goal, very few have managed to do this and he made it look too easy.
Skills. Hasil (Stafford 10) showed great ball control all game and always took on the player he was matched by James Cole (ABG) who sprung to life in the dying moments of the 2nd half looks like his red bull kicked in late as he checked into the heartbreak hotel rescuing a draw for ABG.
Duo of the day. Bobby and Jaz (ISA). They were taking it in turns to absolutely hammer the Q o Q net always seeking each other and trying to get that perfect finish. What show.
Hat trick heroes. Dav (Treesdown) Bobby and Jaz (ISA)
