Welcome to week 4,
ISA drift of the pace this week after a shocking defeat to Aston Brook Greens. ABG still find themselves towards the rear of the table but are now within 2 points off 2nd place. Ajax Treesdown are now one of the only teams across all divisions to win all their games thus far. Their latest victims are Quanity over Quality who continue their battle with the number 0. They are now 5 points clear as they continue to impress in the gold standard. London’s Finest and Stafford 10 join the race for 2nd place by defeating Reds United and the Lehmann Brothers respectively. Finest, Stafford and ISA are now all on 7 points can they catch the phenomenon of Treesdown?
How it went down
Ajax Treesdown continue their demise of all the teams in the gold standard with another tasty show that even had Jose Mourinho telling them that they are the special ones. Dav nestled a hat trick with Raj, Jatt and Kuljit also scoring. Another all around performance and in honesty they could have had more than 7 as the referees comments were “I don’t re call Q o Q actually getting the ball”. For Treesdown surely silverware is beckoning, let’s just hope the notorious t. Down don’t throw it all away.
A game that had everything skill and goals as the ball was blasted so hard it started to fall apart. It was the Demi show as he took Finest into a quick 3-0 advantage. Khalid then hit back, but his goal was quickly cancelled out by Michael who played a Lampard like role in the middle of the park. Fahad and Khalid then started to show their colours as they linked up nicely and the crowd thought a comeback was on. They managed to pull it back to 4-3 before the half time break. In a sensational turn of events Khalid then levelled the game in the opening moments of the 2nd half. Reds pressed to go ahead but their defence was not holding up well. Finest shattered the dreams of the Reds with Michael and Demi netting again and Todd also getting in on the action. It was a flattering result that ended Finest 8-4 Reds United.
ISA and ABG contested in what wasn’t the most entertaining of games but both teams certainly wanted to win it with some crunching tackles flying in. Play had to be called back on several occasions as there seemed to be a lot of hugging, save it for the bedroom folks. ABG did something they usually don’t do and that is man mark, they communicated with one another and showed what they can do. James Martin hit twice one from the spot, infact ISA relied on Issa in goal who pulled of several saves as their defence was in dream land. Ken and Tom also added to the humiliation of ISA with David Wastall strong at the back and to be honest it was all far too easy for ABG. ABG 4-1 ISA.
How much hassle did Hasil cause. 7 goals in one game, do I need to even write a match report about this game. A flawless Stafford performance putting Mike Gays to the test too many times. Kit and Tomas tried to revive the Lehmann Brothers in the 2nd half but despite their 2 goals each Hasil shat all over their goal. In the end all too simple Stafford 10 7-4 Lehmann Brothers.

Back to told times. Lehmann Brothers and Q o Q just love to be the bottom 1 and 2 in fact they are drawn to one another like a moth to a flame. Their venture in the gold standard seems to be identical to their season in the premiership.
